What can I say. I love the character Simon. I never thought that he would become, well, you know...one of THOSE! And then the action that ensues. Now that Jenn A is done with C of Glass, I can hardly wait to get into it and end the mysteries. But like all sequels, it saddens me to end.

I am reading a book called Deathwatch and it is about a college student named Ben and he is helping a man named Madec find the perfect big horn. While they were hunting it Madec seen something move so he shot then he said he saw horns. It turned out that he had shot a old man that lived in the mountains in the desert. Then Ben trys to go and tell the police but Madec won't let him go with his clothes on.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading this book called "Feed" I think everyone should read it. It's kind of hard to explain this book because it's in the future and it's almost all computer things. In the book Feed you have a chip in your head thats called a feed. You can look things up or chat with people with out other people knowing bout it. I'm goin to warn you that there is some boring parts in the book. I could not put this book down when i was reading it.
ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago I finished a book called Love That Dog. It's about this boy who likes to write poetry a lot. This book has lots of poems from a lot of real poets. Like Robert Frost. But this boy Jack writes all these good poems but he doesn't put is name on them. He makes them anonymous all the time. Jack always says that he wants everyone to read his poetry, but no one can tell. His teacher says that it's really good and so does his class. But he doesn't believe. Sooner or later at the end he does and everyone likes his poetry!

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. It is about a girl who lives with her mother but her mother leaves her. So she moves in with her sister and her husband. I am not very far into the book though and I will post more about it soon.
ReplyDeleteI am reading the book Warriors. Its called Fire and Ice. Its the second book where a cat has just became a warrior and must protect his clan. He has just gotten an apprentice and has found his old sister. She is about to have her kittens. This is a very good series. I have really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteMrs.Gruhn...the end of that book is really a surprise. I have to say though, I actually started to like the charactor Sebastian. But hes a part of the giant surprise! I wish I could tell you but i can't because thats the entire point of the end.
ReplyDeleteI just finished a book called Witch & Wizard by James Patterson. Witsy is a witch and Whit is a wizard. They are taken away from their home by the New Order and put into a Reformatory. They escape, with the help of Whit's dead girlfriend, and help other kids escape.

ReplyDeleteRight now i am reading The True Confessions Of Charlotte Doyle. Its about a girl who is on a ship called the SeaHawk. She meet a older man named Zachariah and he gives her a knife. She doesn't really know what to do with it. So she goes to the captin, Captin Jaggery. Later on in the book she saw a round robin which is 2 circles with writing in them. She also saw a pistol. So, she reports that to the captin and eventually two people die. The captin shot a man named Cranick and then he started to whip zachaiah and he eventually died.
ReplyDeleteI just finished The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle bu Avi. Charlotte faces many struggles including seasickness on the Seahawk. When the captain kicks Charlotte out of her cabin, she decides to live in the Forecastle with the crew. The crew makes her climb all the way up to the Royal yard as a test to see if she is strong enough to be a crew member. Later, when the captain pins Charlotte with murder after the hurricane, the crew turns on her! Now Charlotte must plead she is innocent to save her life. This book gets a lot better at the end!

ReplyDeleteNicholas Sparks is a wonderful wirter in so many ways. i think everyone should try one of his books. So far i read "The Notebook" and "A Walk to Rember" Im reading 'Dear John' right now and my next book is called "A Bend in the Road". I love all of his books.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Enthusiasm By Polly Shulman. Its about a girl named Julie Lefkowitz and her best friend Ashleigh Rossi, the enthusiast. They meet two guys from a all boys prep school. Ashleigh falls in love with the guy that Julie likes. So now it's awkward between Ashleigh and Julie.
ReplyDeleteI read a book called The Battle of the Labryinth. Its a sequel to the Lightning theift, Sea of mosters, and The Titans Curse. This time Percy and Annabeth found a passageway to the Labyrinth which is bad because they can get attacked. So Annabeth gets a prophicy and she choice to take Percy Grover and And Tyson. So they travel through the Labrynth trying to find the guy that made the Labrytynth so they can get the string that can guid the enemy to their camp. They go through a whole lot and find him but he already gave it to the enemy so they get back to camp and when they get there the camp is getting ready to fight. If you want more information you will have to read the book.
ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Messenger by Lois Lowry. It is a book about a guy named Mattie and a dog named Frolic. I am on Chapter 10, about halfway through. Mattie has two friends named Mentor and Leader. He wants to be a messenger to tell Kira the Village will close. It is dangerous.

ReplyDeleteI just finished the book called Crash Into Me. It is about 4 teens who meet online and they all want to commit suicide. These four teens decide to go on a trip to different celebrity grave sites of people that committed suicide. At the end of the trip they are going to kill themselves at Death Valley. Along the trip they learn a lot about themselves and each other. This book is really good. I would recommend it to anyone.
ReplyDeleteI read another book called Cirque Du Freak. It i sthe first in its series. It starts with a boy named Darren Shan and his best friend Steve. They go to a freak show. Darren steals a freaks pet. Then the pet bits steve and there is only one antidoteto the poison. And a vampire has it! That makes darren make the biggest decision of his LIFE!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm now Reading the book called The blind Side. This book was written by Michael Lewis. The begining talks about how the game of football has changed over time. It talks about how Lawrece Taylor changed the game by inventing the sack. It also talks about how Taylor breaks Joe Thiesman's leg and ended his football career.
ReplyDeleteI just started reading the Hardy Boys Series, Number 17 called The Number File. I am starting at 17 because that's the lowest our library has. What i have read so far, two kids named Frank and Joe go on vacation in Bermuda and their dad wants them to check out a guy for a credit card scam. I will tell you the rest when i get done.

But there were no deer and when they were heading back to there houses. They saw a dead faun laying by the fence by Seth's house. Then they started to run to the barn because they heard something.

ReplyDeleteI am just starting a book called When The Soldiers Were Gone. The book is by Vera W. Propp. I really have not started it yet. It looks pretty good. It is about a boy. It is very short for a book. I just got done with Millions. It was a book about a couple of boys that find a million dollars in cash. They don't know what to do with all of it.
