I hope you all had a nice long weekend, especially with a good book to read in the down time. The comments to this post will be due Friday, November 20th. Guess what. I had a parent "book whisper" to me during conferences and now I have two authors, 5 books added to my book list. Inkheart Blog 3

The Inkheart post (number 3) is due Thurs., the 29th, since we don't have school on Friday. Yea!

I'm very pleased at your excitement over your books. I can't believe what I'm going to ask. Could you limit your blogs to no more than 10 lines? I'm afraid people are giving up reading the long ones. So, 6-10 lines, be concise, with just enough detail to tempt us all to read without telling too much. It's a skill, to describe and summarize,--all with just the right amount of pizazz. You can handle that can't ya?

Also, I'm grading down people with mistakes, like capitalizing titles and spelling basic simple words correctly. Give it a quick glance for correctness before you post your comment, ok?

Catching Fire Blog 2

Here it is, a new post. Take time to reflect on a book you are currently reading or have just finished. Tell your thoughts, give exciting details to lure a prospective reader in, but don't reveal the ending. I know...that is hard to do if you're excited about the book!

I finished Catching Fire last week and it was as awesome as Hunger Games. Katniss and Peeta have to go up against strong opponents in another round of Hunger Games. I can't wait for the third book to come out! I hope the author has it done soon!
